Why Does Auto Refresh Plus Stop Refreshing with a 'YES' on the Icon?

If Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) stops refreshing and shows a 'YES' on the icon, it means that the Page Monitor feature might be active. Page Monitor feature allows ARP to pause the refresh process when it detects specific keywords on the page. It is useful for monitoring changes on a webpage, such as the appearance of certain text or alerts.

1. Check Page Monitor Settings:

If the Page Monitor is set up to detect specific keywords, it might pause the refresh when those keywords are found.

How to Check:

Open Auto Refresh Plus extension's popup menu.
Navigate to the Page Monitor section.
Check if any keywords are configured to be monitored.
To maintain continuous page refreshes without interruptions and if you're not using the page monitor feature, simply remove any monitored keywords in the Page Monitor section.

2. Maintaining Continuous Refresh with Keyword Monitoring

If you want to use page monitor and wish to monitor keywords while ensuring uninterrupted refreshing, enable the 'Do Not Stop Refreshing When Keyword Found/Lost' feature in ARP. This allows the page to keep refreshing even after detecting the specified keyword.

How to Enable:

Open Auto Refresh Plus extension's popup menu.
Navigate to the Page Monitor section.
Look for the option labeled "Do not stop refreshing when the keyword found/lost."
Enable this option to ensure that the extension continues to refresh the page, even after detecting the keyword.
